Abstract

Objectives:(1) to learn more about percutaneous transcatheter interventions for congenital heart defects in children, and(2) to assess how well these procedures work. Research Tools and Procedures: The following is a retrospective analysis and presentation of thirty instances involving two or more transcatheter interventions for congenital heart disease, ranging in age from three days to thirteen and a half years, with a weight between three and thirty-five kilograms. The outcomes are: In a series of integrated operations, 30 patients had 61 transcatheter interventions. The same catheter session included a mix of two operations for 29 patients and three interventions for the remaining patient. The following interventions were carried out as part of combined procedures: 12 cases of coarctation balloon angioplasty, 10 cases of pulmonary balloon valvuloplasty, 8 cases of aortic balloon valvuloplasty, 5 cases of VSD closure, 4 cases of ASD closure, 4 cases of ductal stent i
