Abstract
A sensitive spectrophotometric approach has been devised for the detection of the antidiabetic medication Remogliflozin Etabonate. The method is simple, quick, and economical. In this indirect approach, the excess quantity of KMnO4 is evaluated spectrophotometrically after permitting the interaction between the drug and KMnO4. A predetermined quantity of Methyl Orange dye was used to react the excess unreacted KMnO4, and the absorbance was measured at 510nm. In the concentration range of 2.5–25 ?g/ml, Beer’s law is followed for this procedure. A molar absorptivity of 0.58577 x 105 L mol-1cm-1 and a Sandell's sensitivity of 0.0089 µg/cm2 were determined, respectively. We tuned the many factors that impact color stability and development.Remogliflozin in pharmaceutical formulations may be accurately determined using the techniques that have been suggested.
